Hi All Experts,

I m suffering from battery problem in my K750. Ofcourse I love it,
but I just worried about its battery.

I read on this forum that we need to charge it for 4 hours to get the mosyt out of its battery, But I am surprised how to charge for 4 hours, as after 2 hours or so it dispalys status of 100% charging, and as people says on this forum after it charge completely it doesn't take the power.
i just experienced yesterday. I put it in charge, after around 2 hours it reaches to 100%, One fact is that while charging My charger seems to get heated and that is so when I touch it after 2 hours then
I leave it for another 2 hours and after that when I touch the charger it's not hot. so obviously during that 2 hours there is no charging process.

Now can U people explain how to charge for 4 hours, when it reaches 100% in just 2 hours and then stop taking any power ???

My another problem is regarding bettery durability, It just sucks. Many people on this forum boasts that Their betteries has status 80% after 2 days usage. Let me tell you people I need to charge my phone every 2 days or so. I constantly monitor its usage. I just use it for 1 hour or less everyday that inclues 10 min or less calls, and rest of the time just playing with the phone like listen songs through Wired hadsfree, not bluetooth one, this doesn't include gaming or Video.

My bettery loose 1% each hour even if I don't touch the phone !!!

Is this normal or problamatic !!!

Please let me know, as I am so dissapointed, I choose K750 after reading good review of it, that includes the review on this forum, and this is my first phone.

Please if possible give me some tricks to make the bettery improved !!!

I send maybe 10 texts a day, and like, 5 mins of calls, and i can often keep my k750i off the charger all week, and have 40% left at he end of the week... How long have you had the battery for? perhaps it's getting old, mine is about a month and a half, and working great still. (which i suppose is to be expected...)

I have never timed how long to fully charge the battery, but i'd say its in the range of 3 hours. then again, i have only ever let it run down fully a couple of times, so i just guessing.

I also have purchased a phone just around 2 month before, now what !!!
and My questions is many people around here says that u should charge for 4 hours but how !!! its stop charging once it goes to 100%

and By the way What is your per hour descrese rate of battery, as I said mine is 1% per hour, even if I don't touch the phone !!!!

Really dont know why dis happens, but its sometin dat generaly occur wit fone batteries. im someone who also takes a keen interest on my battery life span. try discharging ur battery fully(meaning, use it til it goes weak and off) then charge fully again» This message was posted from a WAP device

Chimex, Thanks for reply, Yesterday I try to make it till 3%, and after that I put it on charge, and after 15 hours or so its just 82%

Means its decline rate is somewhat more than 15 per hours.

Can U tell me what is ur battery decline rate ??

....Do it about 3 times. i got dis technique from reading nokia manual. it states dat d battery usually attains full strength after 2 or 3 charges and discharges. u have nothing to lose trying it. about the charger getting hot while charging, dats normal This message was posted from a WAP device

Thank U guys for ur kind Co-operation

Yes, I own K750i, Just purchased it 2 months before.
I read on this forum that at first charge u should charge it for 4 hours for optimal usage of battery.

Now as u were seen My bettery continously loose power even if I don't touch the phone.

I will surely try the trick, to completely finish the bettery and then recharge it, as I said its 2 moths older will this trick still works ???

according to the site i gave you... Lithium batteries are low maintenance batteries. They dont need priming (first time overcharging charging out of the box). You only need to consider two things... dont let the battery drop to under 40% (tho its not hazardous or anything, just one of those care tips) and always place the phone in a cool place. if you have a spare battery, try to use each of them sparingly. when the other is not in use... place it on your refrigerator but dont freeze it.

since its a low maintenance battery... you dont have to completely discharge it to attain optimum performance after recharge... you may recharge every now and then as long as you feel so... no problem with that. just remember to maintain 40% batt life coz lithium batteries suffer from long recharge.

But have u read what Chimex is said, He advice me to discharge completely around 3-4 times and then charge, and it will perform optimally.
Do u believe it, I don't think that charging now & then will improve my battery.

What I want is to Improve my battery Usage Time ??

Hope I will someday ???
