I've also got that problem at home.

I filled in the WEP-codes etc.

It says I'm connected, and I see I've sent 2,1kB and recieved 2,0kB, but I can't access it anymore.

"Cannot locate..."

Could someone tell me if P990 supports WPA2 (AES) protected Wi-Fi access?

Can you be more specify so people knows how to help you.
What kind of router?
What kind of authentication do you use?
WEP, WPA, WPA2?
Do you know the password?
Is DHCP enable on router?
I's MAC controll on?
Is the SSID vissible?
Do you have 801.11b enable on router?

What settings on your phone have you made?

Router: Netgear WGT624
Authentication Type: Open
WEP: Yes, Key nr1 on both units.
Encryption: 64bit
Channel: 11
Mode: g and b

SSID "NETGEAR" on both units.

That's almost it. Any ideas?

Im tryed it out now and yes it worked for me. But on the phone you cant find WPA2 only WPA and WPA-PSK. On my router I have now just for check.
Router settings
WPA Mode : WPA2
Cipher Type : AES

On my phone:
WPA-PSK And I can access to my router without any problem

How does your settings on your phone look like?
Try this
1 headmenu(Huvudmeny) 2 Tools(Verktyg) 3 Controlpanel(kontrollpanelen) 4 Connections (Anslutningar) 5 Internetaccount.
If you havent your Acount there we need to make one(If you allready have one look at your settings).
Press the arrow on the top -New Account, WLAN.
-Accountname(kontonamn) Type whatever you want like "Home".
-Networkname: Type in you SSID name if its invisible or you can search it if it's vissible.
-Authentication: I think you shall have shared(delad) if you have to type in a password.
-Type in your WEP key that you have in the router.
Hit save and Add to Group Internet
Go to Groups under Internetaccounts. Click your group (default Interner).
Click your WLAN name account ex Home.
Change priority to 1
Switch to flight mode(only now for test) on your phone and Activate your WLAN.
Make sure you have shared key on your router and have DHCP enable and MAC filter OFF(you can have it on I recomend you to have MAC filter on but you have to manually enter the phone MAC adress). Dubble check your WEP key is it hex or dec. If its on you need to add your mac address in the router you find your mac adress on the phone under "WLAN". The top arrow, MAC-adress(this is uniqe to your phone only). Sometimes you need to restart the router so w8 a cuple of sec.
Try to access to Internet now. Hope it works for you
If it dosent works make your WLAN open and try out step by step.

I had the same problem! Maybe you use a static IP at your home network. Then you have to fill in IP-adress , submask, gateway and DNS.
Remember not the same IP-adress as your main computer. If your computer has 154 in the last column, try 159 for your phone. Worked for me. The rest (submask, gateway, DNS) is the same as your main computer.

I also have problems connecting over WLAN. I use a D-Link DGL-4300 with WPA and 802.11b/802.11g. On the phone I have configured the WLAN account (with password and all), created a new Internet account and put it in my Internet group.

It is connecting and and the globe is blinking, but no (or only 1-2 kb) is transmitted. After a while I get the 'Could not connect to server http://www.xxxxx.com'.

From the router I can see that the phone has been given a IP address and the phone MAC is shown under connected devices. MAC filter has been turned off.

I had this problem when I first got the phone and was hoping a firmware upgrade would fix it, but even after the upgrade I get the same

Any ideas? Thanks

Still doesn't work.

On my router I have
IP Address: Dynamic ISP
DNS: Automatic
MAC: Default

I got it to work just for 2 days ago, though "Great" and no more fuss about it. No changes made at all on the router at home, and now it doesn't work any more... Annoying!

EDIT: I have the same problem as "ndalen"
EDIT2: When I try without decryptation (no WEP) it doesn't work either...
