> Help i have a Messy W810i

Was out over the weekend there and my 2 week old w810i got covered in beer by a good friend of mine, phone works ok but the keys are all sticky when pressed, any ideas how to clean it?

I'd take the battery out asap and make sure everything's dry inside, take the phone apart if you feel confident enough to do this! If not, take the battery out and place the phone somewhere warm for a couple of days like an airing cupboard to dry out thoroughly.
Often phones that have had liquid spilt on them will work for a few days before corrosion of components sets in and either other things like screens go faulty, or the phone dies altogether!
Sorry to sound like the bringer of doom - you could well be lucky and it's just affected the keys.
The best way of dealing with that is to take the front cover off and clean the keys and keymat with isopropyl alcohol - I used medical swabs for this.

Thanks sammyboy, i have taken out the battery and seems to have not affected the internals of the phone, the phone had a krussel case on at the time so i think it was just the navi buttons and keys got affected but theyre just sticky when pressing and getting a bit irritating. Dont think im too confident taken it apart lol! I have taken out battery anyway, would a little spray blower thingy (think i they use them for cleaning pc's) work? or would furniture polish work?

You mean those compressed air cans things? That might do, but not furniture polish! Needs to be something alcohol-based as it evaporates quickly so won't corrode components like water can do.
As it had a case on you might have been lucky, hopefully it is just the keys that have been affected. Probably best to keep the batt out for a day or two though just in case. With regard to the sticky keys, if you don't feel confident enough to take the phone apart, they might slowly correct themselves through use - out TV remote had something spilled on it, some keys were a bit sticky to use but after a week or two are more normal again!

I did and it killed my microphone and forced the water to ingress into the backlight of the screen.
Id just take it apart, its not that hard at all and leave it to dry somewhere nice and warm like an airing cupboard or in the sun but not in direct sunlight

Trust me cloth duster and polish will clean the keys. Dont dismantle it cos u will break it and void ur warranty by opening
