> help with mute on t68

Hi my boss owns a T68 and has recently experienced a problem with mute on it, I've copied and pasted his description of the fault, he's messed around with it to try and get it to work but it still won't work, anyone know how to get rid of this or is this something where the phone has to be sent back to se.
''Rob, When trying to answer phone the mute is constantly on, I've tried to slide the key on the side of the phone and it does not make any difference, when I phone somebody I can hear them but the person on the receiving end cannot here what I'm saying''
Any help would be appreciated.

well if its muted then "muted" will come up on the screen and u just have 2 press and hold C untill that message clears

Thanks for the replies, i'll get him to try both, he's currently on holiday so the phone isn't in front of me, but I'll see what he says. thanks

He need to get his phone to a service center. His mic is probalby defective. There's a spring contact problem with some of the phones.
I don't think it's a problem with the mute function.

I had the same problem with mine. Just took it to the service center and the exchange the mic in 30 minutes!
