If you´re sick of using gps apps that require gprs acess, like wayfinder and nav4all, and find mobitrack pro to be difficult to use, nows there´s a new option - TrekBuddy!

It seems to be entirely free, and allows loading maps from the memory of phones like k750, w800, w810, w550, k800, w900, P990, M600, etc

If someone doesn´t yet have a gps receiver, look at http://www.nav4all.com were you can buy a hollux receiver for a fantastic price (70 euros)

I'm sorry for slow connection to the application site; I'm seeking a better hosting right now...

The version on getjar may not work ok on K750i and perhaps other SE phones, but the devel version available via the forum should be better.. On phones like N6230i it works pretty well, at least for me.

The app really cannot zoom a map in/out, and I do not plan to add this feature, I prefer to have layers with different scale, I find it better than zooming *bitmaps*.

Regards,
kruch

edit 2006-09-02 14:30: I got new hosting up and running, thanks.
