For the Mac ones, if you right click on the desired application icon and hit "Show Package Contents" Then navigate through Contents/Resorurces/ you will find the icon in a .png format, perfect for use on the m600 as it already includes transparency in the backgrounds.

windows icons don't come with the extention .png

i think they are:

.ico

so u'd have to change the type of file the icon is anyway with windows
