I have looked through the post and it seems people have had all kinds of experiences with diferent brands of USB dongles but i couldn't find Wave Linker anywhere

Wave Linker is made by EIO think this is the link...

http://www.ivmm.com/eio/products_wave_link.html

Back to the problem.
The Phone can't see the PC no matter what settings i use; "discoverable", "phone initiates", "phone accepts" or "discover" all with or without operation mode "on". The "XTNDConnect Blue Manager" software detects the phone when the phone is on "discoverable" but only displays the Bluetooth address not the name. Also the PC cannot interogate the phone it just returns the error message: "Unable to discover Services for 00:80:37:E9A7:22" if for example "display services" is selected.

Hope someone can help

Thx.

OK, does any1 know which USB Bluetooth adapters are proven to work with the T68i under Win98 SE, as from what i have read it looks like any adapters using the Blue Manager is a no no. How about the BlueTake dongles? has any1 tryed those, and if so can you tranfer picture from the T68i to the PC?

Also what is MPM stand for?

Thx.

I have purchased the Wave Linker, and got the phone to pair with the computer! I shall write a short guide to how to do this and post it tomorrow. I even got the image editor to pick the phone up but have been unable to do this again but I shall work it out tonight.
I have not however got my phone (T68i) to send a photo to the PC. Which could mean the MCA-25 I purchased will turn out to be a waste.

Together we can work this out

yup, I paid £29 p&p included.

dmassey, hope you can produce this guide.

I cant get this damn thing to work. Pairing no problem, I can even get the Display Services to work under the XTND Blue Manager, but they are no use. I can even get the BT connection to be seen as a LAN port and a DUN port under the Connect To menu, but I cannot get my phone 'seen' under the SE software.

Can anybody assist

ftp://ftp.inno3d.com/eio/blue_tooth_compact_flash_20.exe

Download the updated drivers for the WaveLinker from the above address. Make sure you uninstall the old ones first.

The above file will give you a different bluetooth manager program, which will actually work whereas the ones that came on the CD don't.

Sending/Receiving/Discovering works fine with my PC and VAIO notebook with WaveLinker
