> P990 - camera shortcut keys?
Bookmark topic
Hi,
Are there any camera shortcut keys on the P990 with or without the flip? I hate fiddling with the pen on the screen, turning on the light or changing to macro. On the K750 for instance '*' turned on the light, '7' (I think) for night mode, etc. Really handy.

My camera app launches when I open the lens cover.

I believe he meant shortcuts for changing the settings like flash on or off, resolutions, night-shot, etc
not about launching the camera software

I miss this a great deal from my K750 - a real pity it's not available and a real pain to have to do everything with the menus (or stylus).
With four rows of keys in FO and FC mode you'd have thought that it would be relatively simple to add to the firmware. It would also be good if the jogdial did something other than switch between Still and Video modes. Why use the jogdial to modify a boolean selection rather than changing, for example, the zoom level or the exposure compensation? :-s

In FC-mode you can use 5-way button on the flip to zoom and change the light.
