My screen on my M600 has all of a sudden decided to go crazy. It had been working fine since over a month. My screen now operates in two modes

Mode 1
Any click on the top 40% of the screen area gets recognised as a click on the bottom right icon (the More button)

Mode 2
Nothing but the bottom right icon of the screen works. Very frustrating cause on an incoming call the reject button is highlighted and there's no way to receive the call, i can only reject it or let it ring. The phone doesn't even enter standby mode, the screen is lit all the time thinking that im selecting the more button.

Restarting the phone has no effect and which mode it starts in seems to be random. I'm using the latest firmware and yes I have calibrated the screen and have also flashed the firmware but to no avail.

I am sending the phone in for repairs but wanted to know if anyone else has had this problem?

Have you tried to re-calibrate the screen using the Set-up Wizard in the Control Panel>Other

Sorry Coxy! Must learn to read - by the way a re-flash is just as good as a Master Reset

So adhussain since you've done everything we can think of then you probably have a hardware problem.

Yeah I know I was just wondering if he had done a master reset before the flash and whether or not it made any difference.

No I dont think that it'll make a difference. I have accepted it as a hardware malfunction, am asking the vendor to replace the phone rather then have fix it

Thanx guys for all your help.
