The music stops playing on my W810 and the message Failed appears on the screen. The files are not corrupted and there is nothing wrong with the memory stick as I can put the memory stick in another phone and the mp3 files play uninterupted. Any suggestions as to what might be causing this problem. The phone came with the latest firmware.

Have u by any chance moved the actual track to another folder in the sounds folder since the last time you played it with the walkman? If you have, it is the reason for the failed message. Just refresh the tracks in the walkman and all will be fine.

No, I have not moved any of the tracks. It doesn't do it on the same track all the time. It is quite random. Sometimes I can play music for 2 hours without it happening and other times it will do it after only about 15 minutes. It is really strange. The music sounds fine when it plays. I do notice that when I try to start the music playing again after the failed message it doesn't start with the last song playing but goes back to the song I originally started with.
