Hi
http://www.teavuihuang.com/massstorsync/
I've had many attempts at synchronising my k750 with iTunes. None of these were successful. This is what I did each time-maybe I've done something wrong (but checked & re-checked instructions):
1) I extract the zipped MSS to C:Mass-Storage-Synchronizer (SE files in C:Program FilesSony Ericsson...)
2) Cut & pasted the 'MassStorSync' shortcut to the desktop
3) Inserted the mem card (also tried sometimes to not put mem card in until later). This is the one that came with my K750 (64mb)
4) Double clicked the shortcut, and a dos box or something came up. Then iTunes opened and a new playlist was made, called 'My Sony Device'
5) It's at this time that an error message always comes up saying
"There is no disk in the drive. Please insert a disk into drive."
Options are to cancel, try again or continue. 'Try again' does nothing. When I hit cancel about three times, it says:
"*By Tea Vui Huang* Not enough space on Sony Walkman phone. Some files may not be updated"
It does nothing to the mem card. If I click continue, it says the following, which also has no effect:
"*By Tea Vui Huang* Sony Walkman Phone updated. You may remove the device".
It doesn't actually do anything. The same errors come up after I put files in the new playlist and try to sync.
I have tried reformatting the mem card. This doesn't solve the problem. There a two folders named 'MP3', both lead to the memory card. One folder is on the actual memcard, and the other is a shortcut to it in the 'Portable Media Devices' section of the control panel.
How am I suppossed to sync my K750 with iTunes?
Thankyou, help greatly appreciated.
Y. M.

Hi
Basically sync'ing with iTunes automatically transfers your playlist on the PC to your phone, so the audio in your phone is the same as that on your pc. Please refer to the link etc to find out more; this thread is for solving a problem with MSS.

give up on m,ass storage synchroniser - I never got it to work either. Look at disc2phone and itunes (you can export an itunes playlist, and then drop the exported xml file into the disc2phone playlist window, then copy the playlist to the phone. Takes a few clicks, but works well.
