comet have an amazing deal centreno duo with 1024mb of DDR2 ram!!! for... 499 online 599 in store

my advise go by spec not by name! sony very respectable name but alase all laptops i'e seen with 1gb of ram are way in the £k's although acer or fujitsue use the same ram n CPU for about 300 quid less!

all u need from a laptop (if u mobile user) is good light powered CPU, 512mb of ram, CDRW/DVDROM, inbuilt GFX (64 mb shared max) and ur works/word aplications (if MS user)

if ur a gamer and want a laptop i can only recomend he Dell XPS systems or the Alien Ware systems

adverage user?

Wifi
Duo core
1024 RAM
DVDRW
screen size? meh who cares
and an adverage batt life (2-4 hours)

@ scott - yeh, but dells are clunky I find, and prices depreciate really qucik on uk markets....

@ guy asking who I forgot the name of - most people keep their laptops for 2/3 years and if you get any problems dell parts are easier to come by in india apparently, more so then other parts such as apple or so im told

It's a nice laptop but for Rs. 67000 (about £760 in cyco money) it's a bit expensive The specification is ok, but only ok for that kind of price. I'd expect a little more for that kind of money, or conversely expect to pay at least a little less for that kind of laptop.
