This story happened a few days ago in Russia.One man decided to add some money to his bank account via the ATM. He went to the nearest one and put 2,000 roubles (around $74). The ATM took the money and returned him a slip with $700,000,000 Credit!!

in some countries if a abkc makes a cock up they have to give you the money, this is in place in ireland and other places

I can categorically state that that is completely untrue in the case of Ireland......Bank gave me €3500 one day in error and removed it, upon doing a wee bit of research, the only way to gain the money is to withdraw all your funds and close your account!
By the time I had realised the mistake was made, It had already been rectified!
Oh well!

hmmmm thats odd, it was on watch dog or something basically if ...... bank pays in money into your account by accident by law its then your money... happened to some guy who got £35000 I think, something liek that atleast

happened here in Australia. Someone deposited money into a lady's account (small amount) , she checked here account and she had $350,000 after that deposit
The money did not come from the depositer though, obviously a bank problem there, and that money has been sitting in her account and the bank has said nothing at all!....

Is indeed they are weird stories..why do you think im making them up?...If you care to click on the source link to each article you would know instantly where the story originated from.
fiction isn't really my thing...im more of a facts kind of person!
