> Headphone Wire To Long ?

I have just bought my own personal headphones & a 3.5mm adaptor but now the headphone wire is quite big (1.5m). Any 1 got any idea's as 2 how tie some of the spare wire up etc. (I thought use heat shrink but then how would i feed the shrink up and over the wire because the headphone buds or phone jack are too big) ? ? ? ?
