I have a k750i flashed to a w800i, and it has worked great more than 6 months.

Earlier this week it got the heebijeebies after i had walked into a electronics store and received a bluetooth message. I canceled/refused the message as i don't answer unknown people..

It now has many strange behaviours.

1. it does not shut off keypad light when going into "sleep" and it then hangs. powering off with button is useless as it wont work.

2. it suddenly say that handsfree profile is selected and it hangs there.

3. Refuses to shut off with powerbutton. If i remove battery temporarily, it starts after insertion sometimes, and when it does it has no signal and handsfree profile even if it was not selected before shutdown.

4. it refuses to charge battery with usb cable (unless i have removed the battery for several hours). When cable connected i can still access files and stuff on the phone.. just no charging and NO display (there is diplay but no backlight) (using myphoneexplorer) . Have also tried the real charger, same fault.

plus many other strange fault i just dont list them..

I have tried removing the 2Gb memory card.. but no difference.

The firmware i have is "UpdateService_Inst_2.6.4.9.exe" i think.. anyway it says i have the latest firmware.

I an NOT sure it has to do with the bluetooth message i got (some file.gif)
but as i use the phone several times a day and it worked earlier that day then....

Can't believe refusing bt message could make a phone act like that. Reflash it.

A reflash seems to not be needed.

I did a "total restore" and it seems to work again now. no problems since yesterday now.

But i lost all my themes and stuff ofcourse.

I would still reflash it. I used the W800 RiBc002 from top sony on my k750 and I done the flash for free and I have had no problems.
