Hi, i have recently installed SE file manager onto my computer. I want to be able to take pictures off my phone onto computer. When i go onto the file manager and look in my picture folder it says it is empty. Even though it isn't. Is it because the file type doesn't match?

It would be great help if someone could give me a step by step instructions on how to transfer pics from phone to computer

Thank you guys
x

Plug in the phone
Go to my computer and find a removable disk.
OPen it up.
Now digital camera images are in the dcim folder . other pics are in the MSSEMC/Media FIles/image folder.

Hi thanks, that helped on my other comp. WHen i plug my fone into this computer it doesn't show the device in the taskbar or in my computer. It makes a noise when u plug it in but its not the normal sound. Does it have anything to do with the drivers concerning my pc suite software?

Im not sure. Try running these on the other comp:

Also try a differerent usb port. My friend's computer would complain about a usb device malfuntioning when he plugged his 6630 in but in another it works fine.

I tried to download that software on this comp and it says i have to plug in my phone. It won't work obviously because the comp doesn't do anything or recognise my phone when i plug it in

That is really odd.
Bring up the device manager and plug in the w800. delete any sony ericsson devices that appear and try plugging it in a different port.
