Guys, this weekend I'm going to pick up a new M600i, and I would like to buy the white one. But there seems an unsettling chit chat from a store I occasionally visit to buy mobile phones. The shopkeeper said to me last week that the M600i build quality is not as good as the black one, that's why there's no price difference between both colors. The color is too "plasticy" (I don't even know what that means), it's crickety, and all that bad build quality stuff. Usually, in my country, a different yet stylish color warrants a price difference anywhere from 3-5%, but in case of M600i it didn't.

So any white M600i users can attest to this statement? I prefer the white M600i because it's more lively than the black one. I couldn't check it by myself about the build quality because here, brand new mobile phones are sealed inside their boxes, and only after a deal has been made, then I can take a look inside the box.

Thanks in advance.

I have no issue with the build quality of the white and in fact if we are just talking plasticy looks I think that statement belongs to the black

Yeah, I got no problem with mine. Dropped it 3 times already, only got scratches on the silver part, minor on the white portion.

Build quality is excellent - easily the best of all the phones I've owned in the last five years

Thanks all for the inputs... That's very assuring. I'll buy it post haste when weekend comes, my old P910 really needs a replacement ASAP.
