Hello everyone, my plan just expired and i need some help choosing a phone. i was thinking of getting the Sony Ericsson w900 or the Nokia N91. i have a couple of questions about the w900 though.

1) my previous phone was the S710 and I remember you could convert video files and put them into the phone but the problem was that they weren't full screen. Can i convert video files and play them on the w900? and if i can will they be in full screen?

2) i read some reviews about the w900 and i noticed that the camera has no protection. is there any place i can buy a film or something that will help protect it?

3) Is there a speaker function included in the W900? if so, is the quality good?

4) this might be sort of hard, but if I you guys could compare the features that the N91 and the w900 have, which phone would be better?

if there is any other information that you guys feel that i should know, please post it. Thanks guys.

I'm writing from my phone now so i'll make it short.
If you want a huge swivel,with walkman (and the unique megabass) and with a very good camera then go for w900.
If you want nokia's music phone which is said to have better audio than se walkman phones but doesn't have autofocus and it looks ugly and big imo then go for nokia n91.
I would probably go for w900 if i was to ignore the symbian os on n91.

im not a huge fan of the W900 ,but id say go for that over the N91

Intresting comments. I see that the W900 is tiny? Light? Small? Durable?

N91 comes with a 4GB storage, has a much much better sound quality, just read any review you want. Its made of stainless steel, which SE just doesnt know it exists. Plus W900 is OLD!

i had the w900i, great phone, great sound in earphones and excellent speaker. Great cam,screen and video.....

the n91 is fugly, and btw qvga, you can get 4gb mem stick for w900, oh and 8gb

Considering W900 and N91 are priced almost same, add the price of a 4GB/8GB memory card, and then see what the total price comes to. At that price, we're better off with a W950, which is around the corner.
And rare dosnt mean we HAVE to get it. Whats old, is old.

And it HAS been mentioned in many reviews, that N91 has the best sound quality yet on any phone.

ive had both,and the N91 had terribly buggy software, it would take litterally 5minutes just to send a text message,it as soon as a few songs were on the HD,it would slow down to a crawl. yeah its got a 4GB HD,but but its not much use if its too slow to use.but yeah,the sound quality is good.

i had no software problems with the w900,just didnt really like the design after using if for a few weeks.
