Is there any way to make SMS message alert louder in Sony Ericsson 68i ? I have searched in forum but could not find what is the latest result ? Is it possible or still we are waiting for some kind of fix ?

Thanks

Sanjay

@sanjay92

Welcome to Esato sanjay92. As this is your first post here you probably didn't know what to do before writing new messages to the forum.

Your question is already answered several times before. A search for "message alert" would reveal that. It is also answered in the Esato FAQ
http://www.esato.com/help/faq.php#smsalert

When starting new threads, you should describe the problem in the subject field. Your original subject "T68i" didn't tell me anything about your problem, and if I was browsing the forum via WAP, I would not have read it.

Thanks for info.
I have read somewhere in forum that there will be some patch/firmware to solve SMS alert message problem. Is it still true or there is no plan for this from Sony Ericsson.

Thanks
Sanjay

Due to this drawback, I am thinking to buy some other phone. I must need this feature because I am on pager call and want my pager alerts should go to phone. Any idea, which cell phone I choose. I am only looking for GSM compataible phone,

Thanks
Sanjay

With Nokia phone, you can personalize SMS alert tone.
