> Safely Removing K800 In Phone Mode?

How do you go about safely removing the K800 phone from the computer when the phone is in 'Phone' mode? I would normally go to the 'Safely Remove Hardware' symbol on the task bar, but when connecting the phone to the computer and selecting 'Phone' mode in order to use files with the phones memory (not memory stick), the K800 does not appear within the 'Safely Remove' menu.
I'm pretty sure that it works fine when in 'File Transfer' mode, I can do everything I want to do in 'Phone' mode, its just that because I'm worried about just taking it out since I can't seem to safely remove via the normal way, instead having to shut the computer down first.

Thats a relief, I thought that because most devices including my old K750 require that you Safely Remove it before you take it out, I feared that I may of had a bug or that my USB drives/cable were messing up.

YOu'll soon know if it doesn't work as your computer will just hang, the device will usually be fine. I'm running XP Pro and I hace software installed for my PSP, K750I, and Canon camera. They instantly fire up and work when either device is attached, I then just pull the USB out when finished and thats it. Close the programmes down and exit USB mode on the device and it's fine, never used the safely remove USB device feature and I use XP Pro Service Pack 2.

Well I've always used the Safely Remove feature when I can, simply because I read that not doing so could possibly lead to problems such as memory wipes and so on, which I don't want to risk happening.

yeah, cuz it is like a hard disk and if u unplug it the wrong way it may damage the memory

Oh for crying out loud, just unplug it for goodness sakes. It will not damage the phone. Windows does a write caching so you will not break anything.
