I have a similar model in which you are having problems with. When your headset shuts off, does it go into a white screen? If so then it is a temporary issue that can be solved in the near future. Your phone may be simply crashing from a firmware bug.

You have the latest firmware
for now!!! There will be more updates for your K790i in the future. So for now just sit back and wait for news and/or further info on updates for you model. If you can't be by the computer all the time, but you wan't the firmware as soon as it's released for your K790i you can go to: Settings => Update Service=> Search for update.
Go there once or twice a week from now untill it is released then you can downlaod it from there.

It's nothing wrong with your phon its something wrong with the firmware. So this can be fixed with a simple update. No need to replace your device but you can speak to the retailer for further info on your problem.

hey...today just out of curiosity i used my phon without the memory stick inserted.... and the phone has been on the entire day more than 14hours without getting switched off....
is this a strange coincidence or the solution to my problem??
normally it does not stay on this long ... it switches off atleast every 2 to 3 hours...
i shall be usin it with memory stick inseted tomo to make sure this is where the problem lies...
could it be a corrupt memory stick or sum incompatability issue???
