> Help W550i won't start up!

My W550i won't start up, all I get is a white screen. Ive tried charging, removing the battery and nothing happens.
Does anybody have any ideas, Ive only had it 2 months!

It's new, well 2 month old. And no its not ben droped.
Flashed it? Sorry, but whats that?
It won't even switch off, just the white screen all the time.

bobba im going to guess and say its old which wud u agree depending on the worenty's date length he should clame off it but if its ran out he shud flash it and c if that resets it.
if hes dropped it then same thing applies clame off warenty (if it hasnt ran out) or house insurence, clame offf that, its wat i did.

its a common problem with w550 known as the white screen of death, if you send to the phone to me I can fix it, assuming you are from UK, if not then you should take it to SE service center.

I'm in Mexico and will check if there is a SE dealer in the town, but I doubt it.
So what does flashing it involve and what do I need to do it and will it fix the problem. Will it effect the warrenty?

Faced the same problem too.It all started with a theme that i downloaded someone said it was software compatibility problem.What i did was find the nearest servicing centre went there and since my warranty was valid i had them repaired it ummm it was just a software problem so all they did was update it.I hope you do the same.
