Hi people just spoke to the head of SE here in India and I have been told 15th of september as the phone will be release with the new software.

I would strongly advise not to buy the P990 - advise you read all the posts in the past few weeks. Phone is bugged and overall a disappointment. Now, if you are still motivated, mine is on sale (Singapore purchased). I can even throw in a 2G memory stick.
