Bookmark topic
Hey i thought that with contract phones you can put any sim in and they work, Turns out I tried to put my O2 3G sim in my orange phone and it was asking for a phone lock code, I've not yet set one, tried 0000 but didn't work does anyone know a solution..Cheers...
PS i'm not sure where this is being posted since i can't find the post a topic menu.

it will be locked to orange, all their contract phones are locked.
Its only o2 contract and used to be vodafone(dont think so anymore) who didnt lock their contract phones.
will have to request the unlocking code from orange as i dont think 3rd party solutions are available for the k800 yet

bit confused. the fone lock code is a kind of second protection next ti imei. the unlock code is to make a fone sim free.

If you want to use O2 sim, you'll have to get the unlock code from orange....
....apparently, if you put an Orange PayGo sim into the phone, then call orange customer service from it, you can get them to send you the unlock code; you have to put £20 credit on the PayGo card, orange take it as payment for the code, don't know how long it takes to get the code....
