> Help! SEUS bricked my P990!
Bookmark topic
I ran the update service in order to get the latest firmware on my new p990, it got about two green dots on the progress bar, then went back to the start screen saying "update your phone bla bla". The phone just flashes white and is totally useless.
Trying to update again gives the same results. Two dots get green, then the process stops.
What to do?

there was already another user with that problem, and he ended up recovering the phone by re-flashing the phone....
try using another pc
from my experience with flashing t610, t630, k750, k700, k300, etc there´s no such thing has a completly dead phone because of flashing...there´s always a way to recover the phone

Go to Program Files>Sony ericsson>Update Service>db>137????>blob_fs
and delete the faulty formware files and SEUS will try again the next time you use it

Yea, i did that. Uninstalled SEUS, deleted all remaining files manually, rebooted and reinstalled. It has one green dot to go now... 13/14 completed. I hope it lasts.

It worked. I'm not pleased with how the restore system works. Most of it got back how it should, but there are things that I need to fix manually.
At least the phone is no longer an expensive christmas tree decoration!
