Hey all. I don't suppose anyone knows when the W950 comes out? I've read a few things saying this month (Sep 2006), but I'd have thought that we'd have a date by now since there is under a month to go..?
Also, on a technical note, does anyone know how well the phone (will) compare with other Symbian phones currently on the market? I plan to develop for it, as well as use some pretty processing-intensive applications on it (including emulators) and I want to make sure I'm not buying an 'underpowered' Symbian phone.

September 28th on o2 is what l saw on o2's release date info today, went into an o2 shop asking when the P990i is being released.

i feel like i'm always waiting for SE.
i'm waiting for the o2 release as i'm due an upgrade. didn't mind waiting til end of september - but its not good that the SE site says october!

i think i'm leaning towards the w950 now above the m600 and p990.
The only thing is that i dont need a mp3 player as i've already got a 40gb jukebox. i still think that 4GB storage will come in useful.
think i'm going to wait til somebody writes a full comparison between the w950 and the m600

I'm pretty sure that the phone will be roughly equally as powerful as the other most recent Symbian phones as well. Hopefully that'll be good enough.

www.o2.co.uk , click on "shop" then "coming soon" phones it lists the w950 and p990 as arriving september.
thing is i could buy an m600 now - i dont know what to do
