hi all,

tmrw there is a presentation for me for a promotion , if i get thru i can become a trainer on the company, it has come down to the final 8 , and i have a presentation to do tmrw.

i still dont have a topic. the topic has to be non work related. the presentation has to be for approx 8 minutes, and ppt is not allowed. only flipcharts and whiteboard. the presentation has to have audience interaction. there is going to be 3 in the panel, a sr. trainer , director of training and an operations manager.

i am stumped.

pls pls help

Well, as you don't have very much time to prepare for your presentation, it should be something you know a lot about, so that you feel confident, talking about it.

@govi - Looks like 8 minutes (time) will definitely NOT suffice for a presentation unless yes, if a Power Point is allowed etc. white boards is an OLD style of showing visuals.

I was watching the Discovery Channel 2 days ago . . . and the topic was about the End of the World: Black Hole. I was surprised to know what this Black Hole thing can do to us (mankind) in an instant It can even 'swallow' our SUN in no time . . . the Black Hole is 'gravity' itself . . . it pulls/siphons everything that comes in it's way . . . it can even swallow the entire - galaxy (Milky Way) . . . in our case. There are millions of Balck Holes out there . . .

The BIRTH of a Black Hole is caused by a DEATH of a STAR !

First, the topic was just about Meteors . . . the planet Earth should have met it's FATE last 1994 . . . as a meteor was detected to hit us, fortunately, the Planet Jupiter 'blocked' the meteor's path . . . the meteor itself is bigger than Earth As was reported . . . Planet Earth should have been hit by this meteors - a THOUSAND times back then . . . if it was not BLOCKED by the planet - Jupiter's I still doubt it till this very day that the demise of the dinosaurs was caused by a - meteor hitting our planet though

There you go - Govi ! 8 minutes - FLAT !

This topic will surely give your promotion . . . as an ASTRONOMER
