> work experience placement - help!

hey everyone, i haven't posted in a long time and probably wont for a long time again as i am just going into the first of my two gcse years.
my dilema is where should i go for work experience? i have got two companies (basingstoke and deane/test valley borough council county barriers apply as i don't want to travel too far...) ibm and tdc ltd. i am thinking about sending off to ericsson and motorola of basingstoke aswell.
my question is, does anyone either own a buisness that could have a work experience student their (year10) or work for a buisness that would be happy - i'm talking like technology side of stuff here tbh.
i'll think about most things,

Why not contact O2, Vodafone, Orange, 3UK personel departments for info? I'm sure you'll find the details on there websites if you look. Otherwise if you want technology experiance I would go for IBM as long as it isn't just an IBM admin office near you.
What area are you interested in the most? Repair/ servicing equipment, research and development of equipment etc
BT's R&D is supposed to be pretty good.

right im gonna wait untill tomorrow to see what i get back - i've sent one to vodafone, tdc ltd and ibm and am just about to look at motorola and ericsson

Goodluck I mema my yr 10 work experience I was placed at The Birmingham Nature centre I got a certificate of my headmaster for doing so well ahh that was 1994 lol

right, i have now been offered a placement by tdc ltd (of Basingstoke) and they are offering me a placement to have a project on doing a few of the parts for their new website (using html/php). all i need to do before i get there is to learn html a bit better, and learn some if not very well php.
