Mmm i'd most likely do the following:
18month contract, 800 mins 250 texts £50p/m, 3 months half price line rental.
Then either add 50% extra mins per month or change the texts to 1000 all for £50p/m, £25p/m for the first 3 months
P990 free of course

Looks pretty good. You have to pay for Data bundles as well now don't you?
What the score with downgrading your tarrif? Can you still do that and if so after how many months?

Yep downgrade after 9 months if you want to £20p/m. Data is a funny one. Vodafone just haven't got this right. Unless you've got 1000 texts (i think the 1000 text pack can still be used for data) you'll have to pay £2.35 per MB. This better change soon cause even for staff its this price.. just damn discusting

See this is the worry for me... the P990i will eat that data thus kicking the cost right up!
thanks for the info. Much appreciated.
