Hello there.
I think this might be the first post on this forum, so I'll keep it clean and simple. My contract with O2 is up and I want to go for a smart phone. I'm keeping my options slightly wide open to all makers out there, but then I have used SE phones for ages and would like to keep it in the family. I'm a professional football photographer who will need to use his lovely new phone (whenever these boys come out on contract) to do the following:
-send data via 3G (or EDGE if really needed, but not necessary) by using the phone as a connecting divice to my mac powerbook.
-be able to check and send email on the fly.
-be able to sync with a mac? this probably is not possible for the SE devices, but I have checked that it's possible to do something with the e61. I guess I can wait a bit until someone comes out with a plug in to do this on the SEs.
-wifi will be very nice, but not necessary. but would be nice
Nope, don't need a camera. I just want to have a sexy slinky device that will do my deeds.
I would go straight for the jugular as the p990 fits all my needs, but from what I have read thus far, it seems very very very buggy. Have I got the patient to wait for the latest firmware that will fix EVERYTHING? Maybe perhaps if the phone is that promising.
If you can cast some light to this dilemma of mine, I will appreciate it very much.
Kind Regards,
Ryu

Lot's of folks are very happy with their M600. So that would be an option.

If you have the money . . . then go with the P990 - yes ! Eventually, some firmware upgrades will be OUT to remedy those - bugs etc. Good Luck pal !

If you can do without Wifi then definitely the M600 as you don't need the camera.
