> When I choose Mega Bass....Is it normal?

Well, when I put Mega Bass in the equalizer, and I put the volume in maximum...is it normal the the sound quality gets very bad?
If it isnīt please help me to solve it?

i assume your over driving the headphones. Is it like a buzzing sound at lower pitched sounds? you could try headphones with greater frequency resposne, but im no audio engineer, so maybe someone else could help you more...

I use Mega Bass myself and also get distortion when set at peak volume. It's fine when I drag it back one block. I just assume it's cause I use fairly inexpensive Koss earbuds.

dumbrella's right, ur overdriving the earphones, u should get a better quality earphones such as sennheiser or shure...

You are also overdriving your ears and you get them only once. Be carefull about volume.

Yeah, I use Koss Porta Pro with my w810 and the Megabass works quite well... I can totally enjoy the sound in like half of the volume otput. This is great when Im fallin asleep, I can hear every little tone on low volume and the Bass is great.
But when I drive it a bit higher I get ear terror, so then i turn into manual settings.
Another thing - there might be of course this mp3 quality issue, but I also think that the distortion depends on the type of music...the more instruments, the more noise...
