> K600i turning off by itself?
Bookmark topic
A while back, my K600i kept turning off by itself... sometimes a few times a day.
I sent it to the SE service centre and got my firmware flashed. All goes well for 4 days.. and the same symptoms are back.. though not as often as before. I send it back to SE where they changed my battery and my integrated circuit board...
Today, two weeks after I got it back for the second time, my phone turned itself off again. However, I can somehow replicate the problem... It happens whenever I hit my phone lightly on its side. It doesn't happen all the time... Just sometimes it will turn off, sometimes it won't.
After it turns off by itself I am able to turn it on with ease...
I don't know what the hell is wrong and how I can remedy this problem... Software? Hardware?
Help!!

heh the service centres here in Singapore are outsourced IIRC to a crappy company... so i don't think they would give me one. and its so bloody crowded i don't wanna go back there soon... so yeah trying to solve it myself first... also if they change the IC isn't that akin to changing the whole phone already??
what do you think the problem may lie in?

As it occurs when you hit your phone lightly, maybe the battery looses contact sometimes?

Yes I have about three months left on warranty.
I am thinking it might be the contacts as well as they did not change the casing for me (they told me it isn't covered under warranty), but it doesn't wobble much actually.. the most it does is move about
Strange thing is when I drop it hardly it doesn't off by itself. Also it might be a coincidence or something but it usually happens with 50% or less charge..
I tried removing the batt. and reinserting it and I can't replicate the problem again as of yet. I just gave my phone a full charge as well.
BTW any program that can drain the phone's battery?
