Very disappointed to get my first scratch on the scrren my K800 today. Had it over 2 months and been obsessively careful about not ever having anything in the pocket with it.
Isn't there some material they can make these screens out of that is a bit more scratch-resistant, it's not like I've been careless.

sorry to hear that mate but i think u should always put a screen protector on it to protect the phone. Better luck for your new phone next time!

Something very mysterious happened to my phone recently, not with K800 but with my W550i. I have been exxxxxtremely careful since the day(8 months back) i bought my w550i. I took care of it like a baby, I do so even now. One reason is that I ve been saving pennies to buy this phone for like 6 months. I dont even keep my phone on Hard surfaces, but only on cloth or similar material

. BUT then , just 3 days after i bought, a nasty scratch appeared on my screen, i just dont know how the hell it happened, I WAS SOOOOO BROKE. Besides it was very annoying coz its was there right on the middle screen. BUT something very mysterious happened recently about a month ago, THE SCRATCH JUST DISAPPEARED!!!!!! I kept searching for it but couldnt find. And my phone is now like how it was on day one

. I am so happy but I still dont have any explanation for the mysterious disappearance of the scratch. I am very sure that it wasnt a speck of dust beneath the glass neither have I got my phone exchanged with another by mistake. I still keep wondering about this ..

Several years ago there was a liquid available in the market. It was special liquid for removing scratches from mobile displays. You had to use it with soft cloth. I don't remember the name anymore (something like Displex), but maybe it is still available in some mobile stores.

If I am not mistaken Diplex is not for glass screens. Go to
www.boxwave.com and order one of the best screen protectors on the market. If they do not fit your screen, you can trim them to fit.
