A court in Monaco has sentenced a 30-year-old man to 16 days in prison for sending love letters to Princess Stephanie by SMS.

"The man, who had worked in the royal palace at Monte Carlo as a valet, was already convicted of the same misdemeanour in November 2005 after sending 25 amorous text messages to the 41-year-old sister of Monaco's ruler, Prince Albert II. At that time, he was given a suspended sentence of eight days in jail."
