is this possible? i'm really very tempted to return to the 3 firmware if it is. this is because the official sony ericsson firmwares (i've tried all 3 currently available and also EU1 and EU2) don't have the delivery reports options at all (not for individual texts nor in text message settings.

any advice would be great

ok, well don't know if i can be bothered with that one then... hopefully someone will solve the mystery of the missing delivery report options soon!

This is very strange. I have an unbranded K800i (O2 branding removed using EU2 from Wotan) and delivery reports can be set on it by going to:

Messaging->Settings->Text message->Delivery report

and turning on delivery reports.

Do you not have this option?

before flashing the options for delivery reports where there yes, however now there is no option for them anywhere. wotan server guy thinks it is something to do with the 3 sim card. it's just weird.

flashing it with se program would just say i have the latest fw i assume.

Afaik the "wotan server guy" is right, whether you'll get a delivery report, depends on the network you're using.

don't really understand that in relation to this.

i know 3 do delivery reports i had them turned on and used them for a week before unbranding the handset, and now the options have just disappeared.

first wotan to R1CF001 then annoyed at the lack of delivery options tryed R1CB001 on davinci then R1ED001 on wotan. so i've tried all the firmware i can get my hands on lol.
