you can also press and hold the top button on the right hand side. it needs a longish hold of a second, not just a press

btw, there is some paper in the box that the p990 came in. its bound together and has words and pictures on the pages... worth a look sometime

as for the wifi, is your router protected with wep or anything? is it listed when you scan, etc etc etc.. let us know some detail of what you've done and we'll try to help although if you couldn't find the web browser what hope do we have

yes, I'm being sarcastic so don't get cranky!

ah right, I did press the button, jusy not for long enough, but I did find the browser, just so tired couldnt find it at first.

Thoese books/paper in my box will never be read by me asits against my religion, also in german or french I think lol

I actually had the network going, it was just a mistake my end when posting, I had a error up, but when I entered a url bingo bango it worked

Instructins never work for me (never read them unless its important) also eventually you work things out for yourself like today

good one. I'm like you though and only read the book when frustration sets in.

it also a good test of how intuitive a device is if you can do most things straight out of the box without touching the manual initialy

Yep, so far all is good, I have the basics done, although ahvent spent long on it, I have my wi-fi and one email account on it, getting the feel for it but I am finding the keyboard a bit odd (removed the flip as it was awkward and made it clunky) but as I never had a m600i for long I never got used to all the direction keys.

So far I am actually very impressed with this particualr p990, no bugs yet (although only been about a hour) and the construction is solid and with no flip its much easier in the pocket
