> wifi issues pls help !

was at coffe shop today with my laptop and my 990i . the coffe shop has no restriction to wifi access so i tried to to use my 990i to connect to the wifi there but it gave me an error no access point found inspite of trying to do that several times i gave up and tried to connect to the wifi thru my laptop and was suprised that my latop got connected to the wifi . now can anyone pls tel me what could be the problem with my 990i and if at all any settings r required .thnx

that does surpise me as I found the wifi on the P990 to be very sensitive. Could please tell us:
1. Has wifi ever worked at all?
2. Did the Scan option (after enabling wifi) see any hotspots at all?
3. What version of the firmware are you using

Working perfectly fine at work (Linksys), and at home (Alcatel DSL Router), I will try to test it with some more brands and see.
