i revevied my n73 by post this morning and i must admit i was skeptical.
after having 2 Se's which i loved but sold i had deicded to go back to nokia.
i opened it and everything was neat and tidy.
first of all let me say that in my case when i took the sticky screen protector off it left some marks so i cleaned it with the provided cloth and it was brill.
i powered up and it takes quite abit of time powering up.
then its on and after 11 hours of having it im loving it!
after having two walkman phones i personally think the fone has a better mp3 player than the walkman player altho it culd do with a play/pause button.
the camera is amazing from what i can tell.
but as im no expert on series 60 fones i wont reeli comment on tht.
one thing thts annoyin me is the camera lens cover feel slighty lopsided and wen u push it very slightly it edges slight up the other side of it.
nothing major.
after 11 hours i will probably say this is 1 of the best fones ive ever had and ive had quite a few.
here are sum pics:
sorry if theyre not v good but i havent viewed them yet and am not a master picture taker lol.
if i take sum more good ones ill post them tho
thanks
jack

I have to say this about the Nokia N73, I got one on the 25th August, and initial impressions were good, looked good, screen was superb, and the camera was also superb, on a par with the K800 (which I love).
BUT..........
to be blunt, its S.......L.........O..................W as a 2 legged dog, thats also blind!
it takes forever to boot up, and the lag between button press, and action, then the wait till the screen renders is frankly outragous!
Then the real problems started. incoming call, ring ring, then press green answer button, and boom, phone restarts (very slowly)
Press the symbian menu button, and it part renders a screen, and then freezes, and then about 10 secs later it returns to the home screen.
So return the handset, and get a brand new replacement.........that lasted till today (3 days) and is exactly the same. So call placed to Club Nokia (now I'm a premium member as I own a 8800) and they talk me though it, and do all the usual, hard reset, system reset, and finally check the firmware version. They get back to me and comfirm I have the latest version, and there are no other updates available.
So in effect I have a handset, thats totally upto date, and as a phone is effectively useless.
So I return it. I got a Nokia N93 now, and boy oh boy what a difference.
This thing FLYS, it must have a much MUCH faster processor (i not bothered to check yet), but it flys though the menus and apart from the one downside (size, or rather SIZE), it is extreamly good, and includes WiFi and the totally gob smacking DVD quality recording.
But am I converted from SE......in a word NO.

this isn't a review without a complete look on the mobile it self.. ok.. maybe a quick review would do for the title

yeah, a quick review sounds better. floatlite, I didn't know it was so slow. never heard anyone before commenting about it. I'm still a little shy to change from the fast, easy and reliable

UI (from their non-smart phones) to something like Symbian. but who knows, my next phone might be a symbian phone.

the phone itself does not lag hardly at all on mine apart from when powering up.
it is rather quick to be honest which i was suprised at.
yes it has a pdf reader in the office section which is good as i have all my bus timetables on there so i never miss a bus lol.
the rest of office just what what youd get on a normal phone i think.
2 of the apps tht interested me tht came with the phone were flash player and antivirus.
althought i cannot find a flash video to play on it lol
thanks for all replying
