Just saw that these guys (www.visualit.co.uk) have released street and Tube maps for UIQ3. For the moment they hagev London, NYC and Paris, but on other systems such as Pocket PC they offer many more cities so hopefully those will get ported over to UIQ3 as welll!

Its great software, same maps as the A-Z maps. I used the Pocket PC verison of it when I had an I-mate Jam.

I havent tried this UIQ 3 version yet, just downloaded the 3 day trial a couple minutes ago. I will post my experience here.

Ive been playing with thesoftware some more. Its got some rough spots eg street index function not intuitive, and doesnt make use og 3 way jog in some obvious places it should but its okay.

It very slow relative to the Pocket PC version but I dont know if that is fault of the M600i chip or the software.]

The transition from section to section is poorly done too.

All in all its a good early step but IMO overpriced at 40 pounds for the full Loondon Streets version given its faults. But the smaller versions maybe more value if you dont need wider arras of london.
