Before I start I will make it clear that I am an avid nokia user, I know many of you will argue "nokia fan, nokia have bad customer service, bla bla bla", here are the facts of the matter
more sonyericsson phones have the hissing problem (every single time a new SE model is released), there is some sort of hissing, I’ve never experienced this with nokia and have owned over 40 models in the last 5 years, from the 3330 to N73,
Sony ericsson make the same phones over and over again with the same bullsh*t features, there is no SE phone that can match any of the Nseries range expect when comparing battery power, and I admit SE battery power and usage of battery is amazing
SE lack functionality, and should start using Symbian to improve functionality, who cares about a 2.0 mega pixel camera when you've got a cr*p screen to view pictures on (tiny screen), look at the n70, n73, N90, 6280, the business range etc. They kick SE ass, however the new business range by SE do have potential
When the T68i first came out, I was one of the first to own it, and that’s when I converted to SE, until a point SE phones stopped evolving, which they have now
There is no phone out there that will make me convert back to SE unless SE implement symbian in most of their top range phones, I mean how many times can you brand a phone a WALKMAN, it's starting to annoy me,
Did I mention SE phones lack major functionality and are limited in many ways with the same boring interface, lack real customisation, etc. 1 example is low res 3gp recording? i mean come on were moving on to higher res MP4, do you know how annoying that is, having that on a 2mp phone, recording videos at such a sh*t resolution, you might as well not have the feature at all

maybe so but it does make them millions of dollers a year in selling slightly modded phones if theres a good market why change it?

Nokia is still the big player on the market, and the reason why they have maintained their position.... creativity, functionality, new ideas, and nokia does the job without frustrating you,i cant even organise my messages on SE phones, how lame is that

I've gotta say I agree with most of the things you mentioned. No SE matches N series in terms of functionality. And dont say P990, its far more expensive.

true but also remember nokia have alot more money than SE... for SE to start throwing phones out willy nilly and have them to fail like alot of nokia phones have done would more than likely kill the company

nah man, walkman fones are awesome. Yeah the hiss pisses the hell out of me but i've got that fix. the walkman has the best functions ever, multi-task. listen to music while messaging, playing games, bluetoothing etc + megabass is so crazi, surround sound man
. nokia music fones can't do this + it is sluggish and laggy. walkman fones 30hr + music. ownage man, take a step back.

P990 is one of the biggest suckers of them all,I'd rather by a HTC wizard 2 with windows mobile (o wait iv already got that

I would imagine SonyEricsson have the backing of Sony ... just my 2 pence .....
Instead of wasting money re-releasing the same crap, how about try new designs, fascia swapping, try something innovative, thats why i'm pissed of, so far the N73 just does it for me, its small, light, and does the damn job perfect

But it wouldnt kill SE to bring out a smartphone. Samsung has smartphones, Nokia has them, why not SE? When its proven people love smartphone, then bring out a hardscreen one.
