Sorry if this has been covered – couldn’t find and answer by searching.

My K700i has
R2A041
prgCXC 125821_EU_1_C

Which is the first release firmware

When updating from the SE update software UpdateService_Inst_2.6.4.9.exe it claims that no update is available. This is done via the DSS-25.

Anyone got any ideas? – not inclined to shell out 7.99 for Davinci as SE should be providing updated firmware unless the likes of the later firmware releases are not official SE stuff.

Is your phone branded by any networks? Some networks dont approve the update so SE dont release it for certain branded phones.

nahh its unbranded from new - I just thought there would be an upgrade from the first issue - its 2 years old.
