I am trying to add my first RSS feed. I typed the addresses found on Esato, found on web sites, without any typo. Still I get "Feed cannot be added. Invalid web address" I have a P990i on US Cingular through GPRS. Any thoughts?

I might be missing something since I can't find anything to do with RSS in the browser. I read the documentation which says to click the link and then choose add to RSS. The browsers just opens a new page....

there should be a rss "button" on the top of the opera screen...its that that you should tap to add a rss feed, not the link itself

Failing that, you can always COPY the link and add it manually to the RSS app.

OK. I realized I had to wait untill ALL the page info got loaded. I now get the RSS button, and I am able to click it and then choose which feed to add. That button is rght next to the progress load bar, and untill the entrie page loads and the progress bar goes away, there is no RSS button.
Yet, I get the same error. I will try sites other than CNN to see if this works.
And I did try it on Yahoo. Worked without any glitches. Thank all.

Hi!
I have a P990i and can't add rss feeds. Not from RSS feed or Opera (by clicking the rss icon)
I keep on getting an error "Feed could not be added, connection error."
There is nothing wrong with my connection... I am on the web now. In the settings I have "preffered" connection ticked.
Where ells can I get in the settings to change it, or sort out this rss adding problem?
Thanks1

I don't really click with regular Opera but Opera Mini works great for me with my W960i and especially for RSS feeds.
I don't generally use RSS feeds on my desktop but when I'm using my W960i to read websites I nearly always use Opera Mini and RSS.

It works fine both ways with my P1i, and it was ok with M600i and P990i, too.
