My friend has a phone from Germany, and ask me why his phone keeps freezing when searching for service. When he turns on his phone it freezes when it searches for service. He can't press anything, nothing happens. Sometimes it works, after waiting for 3 to 30 minutes looking for service. My phone only takes 3 seconds to look for service. Why is his taking him so long?
I tried removing his 1 GB Memory Stick Duo, and nothing happened. I changed the back ground to the theme, and still, nothing happened.
Have you had this problem?
How did you fix it?

it could be fw or hw bug, but i guess that the radio apart is gone, thaswhy no reception... u should let it check in se service.
