i gave up. i'm pretty pleased with my m600 but i haven't fallen in love with it like i did with my p900/p910.

i think i might have made the wrong choice - should have been more patient.

Well i'v hung on and on like others, kind off fed up with my p910 particuarly since droping it into a puddle of water (acident of course) as it's not been 100% since. With the debate over P990 or M600 i'm acually going for both, the p990 on upgrade with o2 eventually! as i love the style without the flip and wi fi... but i'v just bought a sim free M600 of ebay for £200 (yet to arrive) mainly for the the slim design as for me there are times when i dont want the bulk of the p990 (thickness and weight) shoved in my pocket.

So let me get this straight, first it was the 4th, then 11th, delayed until the 18th and now its the 25th of September?!

Right, which UK provider actually has it stocked, as I am this close to switching?

It has now changed to october. http://shop.o2.co.uk/shop/o2uk/jsp/otherPages/ComingSoon.jsp I, like many others have been very paitent waiting for this phone since it was announced, but just seems to take longer and longer to come out on o2. If its out on orange before o2 l might get it, am with orange at the moment. Not happy. Yeah l know its out on vodafone but don't want to use that network,
ever! Just gotta wait a bit longer...

Well I ordered the O2 P990 through www.fluidmobile.com and they said it'll arrive by the 20th. That means 5 days

I'm very annoyed at O2 too... (O22..???) I've been waiting for the 990 since pretty much beginning of the year when I was using the N9500, but I got tired of waiting so I got an O2 XDA Exec, which turned out to be "less good". As I'm now in contract my girlfriend has promised me her upgrade. Problem is that her contract is in her mother's name and she wants out of that - but O2 doesn't do owner transfer so the only way for us to stay on the same network is for her to port her "mums" number over to O2 online (from O2 high street) as these are apparently two different companies...
... and O2 just keeps delaying and delaying... Grrrr

I ordered my p990 on upgrade from O2 the other day, they said they will get them on the 2nd October latest(famous last words) and be dispatched on the 4th. However, they may turn up earlier and be dispatched earlier than that, but they cant guarentee anything. THis is what they told me when i upgraded.

Also, if you updating, threaten to leave unless they give you a BETTER contract than you can find elsewhere(check vodafone). I did this, i now have the phone for £180, and £15 per month. With 200 mins, 500 texts, which should be worth 35£, i found a slightly worse contract on Vodafone and rang up o2, and they gave me this.

Just make sure u ask for a better contract, not matched. Then moan a bit when they say no It works!

Anyway, i dont care about an extra months wait, if i get the phone setup on a better contract. Whats another 3 weeks? Weve already waited months! Who cares.

But is that a sim-free phone with an o2 contract sim card?
