I had an opportunity to talk to a SE developer friend of mine tonite.
This is what we can expect from the T68 replacement.
sub-80 gram weight.
128*100 pixels 65000 color TFT screen
3 megabyte memory
Class 10 GPRS
that's what he told me.. it's kinda top-secret at the moment.
It will be available in stores April 1. (but knowing SE i'd say anytime during Q2 is probable)
That's it..

great news...if SE still exist in Q2 next year.
did you ask them how they managed to f*** up with the SMS tone on the T68i?
or whether the software on SE phones was going to continue operating at snails pace behind the competitions?

Well... i LOVE the P800, but i don't think i'll get one.
Don't get me wrong it's a GREAT PDA/phone but i'm not a PDA kinda guy. the succesor to T68 will be enough for me. until then i'll just make do with my good old T68.
It was kinda cool to watch the LOTR trailer he had stored on his 64Mb Memstick Duo though..

quite disappointing if the screen has just 128x100 pixel resolution
it is because 7210/6610 have 128x128, t720 has 160x120.
it is not just a numberic competition,
but a usable problem.
many java developers will design programmes for 128x128 screen devices, which 7210 can do it. if the new phones can just handle 128x100, i think it is quite troublesome for developers, and finally users cannot get as much java programmes to download as 7210/6610/t720
