I just got my K800i yesterday, after discovering that I could have had it months ago (damn you network whose name I shaln't say!!!), and while listening to the radio with my K750i handsfree thingy, I keep hearing light beeping in the background every so often. I haven't tried the handsfree thing that came with the phone as it looks the same. Is anybody else experiencing this?

Read the threads regarding the k800i and you will find a rather extensive analysis on this problem. You will then realise that it is a firmware related problem and that most of the people on this forum are eagerly awaiting a solution to rectify it.
(althought there may be one out that has fixed it, but not yet on SEUS)
(SEUS = Sony Ericsson Update Service)
(you can find it on the sonyericsson site under support)

It doesn't really matter whish thread because the answer to ur question is. Yes it exists, and No there is no way of getting rid of it, but Yes there will be a future firmware update which will solve it.

But heres a thread listing all the known bugs on the k800i anyway:

Actually, my only question was if other people were experiencing the same problem, but thanks for the link.

Turning the radio off and then on again helps, at least on my K800i. The "morse noise" disappears and does not come back again until after several days.

What do you expect from them, given what's happened in the past? I had problems with my K700i and K750i as soon as I got them, so this doesn't bother me much...
