Im exagerating, but yea ive noticed when i purchased the m600 that theres a bit of a gap between the screen and the outter shell all around, ive had little things get stuck in there, lint, dust, small debris, and im concerned that these will just stuff up the interior of my phone. not gooooooooooooooood! wtf, it looks like its been cheaply made. other than that, i love this phone, but why couldnt they do something about this???????????????

OT but i had the same problem with my N91 few months back.

I had Nokia changed the housing/case without me paying since this is a Nokia design flaw.

Read my blog:

Good u brought up the issue with the gap.

My screen suddenly stopped responding (even posted the problem). I did a reset, re installed the firmware but to no avail. Sent it in and the guys said that dust had accumulated on the screen sensors and was making my screen non responsive. They cleaned it up and sent a perfectly fine phone back. They advised me to clean the screen edges periodically.

How easy is it to clean it yourself? Not thats its a proper solution... Is a seal needed?

honestly its a b*tch to clean. might actually push it further resulting in it falling inside the phone. i was thinking maybe if i bought a screen protecter, that might minimize the problem, but the only thing thats thin enough to fit through is a piece of loose leaf paper.. i first noticed the problem when my gf "accidently" flung hot spinach dip onto my screen. AHHHH i was heated! but i dont think any spinach dip leaked inside the unit or else it would of died gracefully. anyways its a problem well have to deal wit until something happens.

The support centre guy told me to clean the gunk by sliding a piece of paper or something between the gap.

Be careful not to stick anything in there that is harder than a sheet of paper (such as toothpick) cause you will damage the screen "contacts / sensors" underneath and even with calibration you wont have good results of fixing the problem.
