I'm half-sure the PC Suite that came with my T610 had this feature where you can sync the messages from the phone to the PC, complete with timestamps, so you can view them (until the next sync) even if you disconnect the phone

the pc suite that came with phones after the w550 seem to have this feature taken out

....or am i confusing it with the nokia pc suite.... :-/

You can back-up, copy, read, send or recieve SMS messages. You will need a bluetooth dongle (I think).
