The recent inclement weather here has cuased me to rethink my beloved Covertec case. The edge the phone that faces upward is too exposed for comfort.

I had an excellent Piel Frama case for my T616 (click here). While they do not offer the same fitted design for the W810 (and its dimensionally identical brethren), they have two in the flap-pouch style that I like. Have a look below and tell me what you think

The one model is the Uniframa. To be honest, the slim, fixed belt clip is the only thing going for this model... I'm looking for a brown leather case, and this model's brown is too tan (too light). Second, the fitment is universal, and while the dimensions are very close, they're not perfect. Finally, all 4 corners of the phone would be unprotected.

The other is the Unipur model. Besides universal fitment, they also have a K750-fitted model I also like the brown color on this model better than the Uniframa. Finally, the phone looks far better-protected in this case, and I like how the only exposure will be the top play/pause and volume buttons. The only downside is the belt attachment, which is the same as that for the T616 case. It's a neat rotating design, but it's quite bulky and IMO unnecessary in a pouch-style design.

Please limit your replies to the above I've looked through a lot of cases, and the Covertec one has been the best bet so far. I'm not looking to hear about other manufacturers and models.

Unipur model (for K750) ordered - 35 Euros (about $45 USD) with shipping from Spain. I'll report back when I have it

I'm fairly certain I said:

The 2nd (set) of images - brown leather casing looks really nice ! I hope we have one like that (brand too) at my end. Though I always rely on 's ICE-25 casing for the (K750/W810) models . . .

I received my case right quick - and wish I never ordered it in the first place

This case is so cheaply made! The leather itself is very thin and very stiff, almost like cardboard. And it's almost as rough - the inside of the case is completely unfinished and unlined. Also, the stud for the belt clip looks like it was simply pushed through the leather, without cutting a hole for it (around that stud, the leather actually looks torn).

And it didn't even come in a gift box, just some cheap snap-together plastic.

This is a complete 180º from the T616/T637 and Palm T3 cases they make (that I used to own). Those were exceptionally high quality in every regard.

So it's back to Covertec for me, as they offer a much more finished, refined, and luxurious case for the same money. In the meantime, I have to decide whether to return the case or sell it on eBay. If I return it, I'll have to pay to mail it back to Spain (from where it was manufactured, sold, and shipped), which may cost almost as much as the purchase price in the first place

Interestingly, Covertec now has a W810-specific page... this is the same case I've had all along.
