Well, I have to admit that I like SE mobiles. Unfortunately I had some problems with the T65 series - see 'Altered T65s':
http://www.esato.com/board/viewtopic.php?topic=13062&forum=17 and now I'm trying to figure out which is the most stable combination of hardware & software from SE.
(I wanted something smart and simple, not coloured - I don't really need colours - ... to do what a mobile does... not too flashy or something.. but useful.. that was the T65... until I discovered it wasn't quite this)
Of course you'll probably mention the latest
Software Version, PROBABLY

. I'm also interested in the
Hardware Version - the one mentioned under the batter, or, as Cytech mentioned - somewhere around the batery

- check previous topics if u don't know. I also this that the
production country could be interesiting to know.
I'm asking for this information because I intend to buy myself a new SE mobile, probably a T68i, but I want to know what to look for or what Software to install so that I get the most stable mobile.
This could sound like an IDEAL MOBILE (you could say it doesn't exist something like this), but I'd like to know at least what's the ideal mobile you've got by now.
Thanks

T39m,
had only some little bugs, like phone shut down, but had it only 2 times, so it's the best phone for me ...
Oh and if you want a very stable phone -> T18 and the GH series, didn't have any bug with it

Forgot to mention that I don't mind the imperfections, like the 'not so loud' SMS altert or something. I just want it to work for as long as possible without shutting/rebooting.
And ofcourse, it should be something new (not like T18

- I understand it is stable, but its functions are far can't make it complex, so I can explain this stability - just like at some other old mobiles)

Hi IceRAM!
I bought my T600 three weeks ago, and its been on for the same amount of time! I've never swhiched it off! Have'nt had anny problems so far! Not a single bug!
I could immagine it's a revised version of the software used on T66, and that's known to have been very stabile, and not to mention FAST!;)
Also own a T68i, but stoped using it after I got the T600, simply because it's a much better phone, if you look away from the differences in the features! Offcurse these two phones can't be compared on the same level, but if you want a phone that is stabile, fast, and have a fair amount of features, this is the phone you'r after!

If you don't want color screen phone, I would recommend you Sony Z5.

Wow.. 10x a lot for all your sugestions...
but now.. looking on esato.com at the z5 and the t600... and the t65 I can see the following:
- T65 has by far the most complete set of features
- T600 compared to T68 has less features => Question: how can it be better?
- z5 & t600 have 150-180 hours of standby - t65 promises 300 (in fact it has ~180h - own experience). I wonder if the other estimations are same as great. The result would be catastrophic
- T600 does not have an e-mail client, which is pretty hard to understand, since it is a SonyEricsson.
- HOW can T600 only WEIGHT 60g??!??!
and.. something that is not specified in any tests..
how much is any of the phones, in US dollars?
assuming I won't buy a T65... which is definitely what I like (and still seems to suit perfectly my needs). I have to decide between T600, z5 (I personally don't really like accomodating to new mobiles - menus etc.; the OT311 from alcatel has one of the messiest menus possible - it costs a little, though) and T68i.. which is coloured, I agree.. but it's

and I like the concept, the menues and the ideea). Some prices would be helpful.

Sony Z5 - about 150 euro.
SonyEricsson T600 - about 300 euro.
Ericsson T65 - about 180 euro.
All of these prices are without contract. You will get better price with some operators sim locked phones.
P.S. Prices in Croatia

mm.. 10x.
Doesn't matter where the prices are from. They're quite similar. (u can ignore +/- 10 $/euros). What I'm curios.. how much is T68 compared to these ones.
P.S. Today my Alcatel OT311 battery died... a little unexpectedly. I'm still thinking of the T65 who used to tell me exactly how much time is left until it dies. This one absolutely @#$!@#^!#$^...
